Basically, Intellectual property rights (IPRs) refers to creation of mind: inventions, literary and artistic work, symbols, images, design which are used in commerce. The areas which affect the IPRs in computer industry are contract/license, copyright, undisclosed information (trade secret), patents, trademarks and finally the layout design.
